United midfielder Gabby Rogers has joined Truro City on a one-month loan.
Having arrived at Plainmoor in the summer, the former Yeovil Town man has gone on to make eight appearances for Torquay, with the temporary move to Bolitho Park seen by manager Gary Johnson as another step towards the player’s development.
“Gabby Rogers is in a situation where he is picking up our game, which is a change from his own game,” said Johnson.
“He is getting there, but he needs to put that finishing touch in games. He needs to produce that in games. Rather than sit in the stand, its much better for him to be playing games, and then I will see the video of the games.
“It’s only for a month, so we can go through it with him, and it is part of his development.”
This move is subject to FA confirmation.
