Torquay United can confirm that Ryan Hanson has left the Club and has joined Tonbridge Angels.
Having arrived at Plainmoor in the summer of 2022 after departing hometown club Dover, Hanson went on to make 53 appearances for The Gulls, scoring 2 goals.
“I’d like to wish Ryan Hanson all the very best for the rest of his footballing career. He needed to move on due to lack of opportunities to play, mainly due to injury and being unlucky with having a couple of concussions, not down to him, but it meant with the concussion protocol that he just didn’t get games” said United manager Gary Johnson.
“He has got to try and earn himself a contract for next season, there was a bit of interest in him and I think he had a choice of a couple of teams at this level, so we mutually agreed that he moved on and we wish him well and thank him for his services.”
