Torquay United Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of defender, Jamie Sendles White on a permanent deal.
Sendles White, 24, spent his youth career with Queens Park Rangers before signing a pro contract with the Rs in 2013. Moves to Hamilton Academicals, Swindon Town, Leyton Orient, and St. Albans City followed.
“He can play as a centre-back in a two or a three,” said TUFC manager, Gary Johnson.”He can play as a deep-lying midfielder. He’s a quality footballer.
“He’s been unlucky with injuries in the early part of his career which is why he missed out on a few games but everywhere he’s been they’ve rated him. I’ve kept an eye on him for some time because I’ve known of him and watched him, and seen him at Swindon many times. I think he was on the bench a few times for QPR in the Premiership.”
The Gaffer is pleased to have Jamie on board.
“I didn’t expect to get him, and it’s nice that the Club has backed me with it so quickly and I can bring in an experienced good footballer.”
