Young Gulls defender Louie Slough has joined Southern League side Bideford on loan.
Having had a temporary spell with Dorchester Town curtailed early last season due to the 2020/21 campaign being declared null & void, this new loan move been arranged to provide Slough with vital senior match experience, as manager Gary Johnson explained.
“We were hoping to get him a National League South club, but at the moment, that’s not been possible,” said Johnson.
“We decided that for the first month, we’d get him some games anyway. He knows the manager, Sean Joyce, at Bideford, so it was a good situation for him, just to get games at the end of a week, as he needs to play some games.”
