TUST recognised for their hard work in helping to secure the future of TUFC.

Fresh from their hugely successful Community Share Issue, which resulted in Torquay United Supporters Trust gaining a 28.6% stake in TUFC, came the news that TUST had been nominated by the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) for a national award.

With TUST being one of four nominees for the Non-League Award category alongside Dunstable Town, George Dowell of Worthing FC and the Non-League Paper, TUST representatives will now take their place at this prestigious award ceremony event in London on Monday, December 2nd.

The FSA Awards will see 90 candidates battling it out across 16 categories on the night, with all areas of the English football being represented.

TUST Chairman Nick Brodrick is delighted that the Trust’s efforts in helping to secure TUFC’s ownership following administration has been recognised in this manner.

“We are very proud and honoured to have been selected by an FSA panel for our nomination,” said Nick.

“It’s always special when your peers within football recognise the role TUST has played in saving Torquay United.”

Everyone at Plainmoor would like to wish Torquay United Supporters Trust all the very best with their nomination, and we hope their representatives enjoy what is sure to be a memorable evening!
