After Gary Johnson’s men battled out a goalless draw in the National League opener at Plainmoor, TUAFC would like to thank the Yellow Army for their continued support.
In his post-match interview, United Manager Gary Johnson emphasised the importance of the Yellow Army, and how their support can make a difference, after an attendance of 3,690, was made up of just shy of 3,000 United supporters.
“Fantastic. It does make a difference. Our boys – the new ones – they need to see the support that we can generate, and then that gives them confidence for the next game,” he said.
Up next at Plainmoor, United host Boreham Wood on Saturday 20th August, before the final home fixture of the calendar month is Woking on Bank Holiday Monday, 29th August. Meanwhile in September it’s two home games in quick succession, with Aldershot Town on Saturday 10th September, before the first game under the Plainmoor floodlights is Tuesday 13th September, with the visit of Solihull Moors.

Supporters unable to purchase online are able to book over the phone on 01803 328666 (Monday – Friday 10am-2pm), or alternatively in person via the Club Shop (Tuesday – Friday 10am-2pm), whilst our Matchday Ticket Office at Plainmoor will also be open ahead of kick-off between 12pm-3pm (v Boreham Wood, Woking, Aldershot) and between 6pm-7.45pm (v Solihull).
Supporters are reminded that it is highly recommended to purchase tickets in advance, with a breakdown of advance ticket sales, and matchday ticket prices detailed below:

Pre-Match Meals At Plainmoor!
Saturday’s visit of Oldham Athletic saw a tremendous response for our ever-popular pre-match meals in our Number 10’s Restaurant, which saw Media Assistant Ian Brown host a pre-match talk with TUWFC ClickHub Women’s Premier Cup hero, Sasha Mole – proving popular amongst those enjoying their three-course meal.
TUAFC would like to thank those who came for a pre-match meal on Saturday, whilst reminding supporters that meals for all of United’s home fixtures throughout August, and September can be booked now!
Our pre-match meals are available prior to all home fixtures, with a superb menu and unrivalled views of the hallowed turf ensure that our meals are the perfect accompaniment to the Plainmoor matchday experience, so be sure to reserve your place quickly to avoid disappointment!
Meals packages are priced at £36 per person (£30 for 2022/23 TUAFC Season Ticket Holders) and include the following:
- Meet & greet upon arrival at the stadium via our Corporate Hospitality entrance
- 3 course meal in our Number 10’s restaurant
- Programme and Teamsheet
- Pre-match talk from Club representatives
- Use of table at half-time
- Complimentary tea & coffee at half-time
- Half-time drinks order to your table available
