Torquay United AFC would like to express its thanks to everyone that attended our home fixture against Dover Athletic on Saturday, as the Club joined with our local community to say thank you to Torbay’s wonderful NHS and care staff.
The presence of members from the NHS and care industry in Plainmoor’s Wollens Terrace was a wonderful sight, and provided the perfect backdrop for an exciting match out on the pitch, as two goals from captain Armani Little saw Gary Johnson’s men come back from behind to register their fourth successive home win.
The game against Dover also saw The Gulls launch their new partnership with Torbay Foster Carers, with the Club making free tickets available to foster carers to every home game for the remainder of the season.
