TUAFC would like to thank our pitch-side board sponsor Peak Cashflow for their continued support of the Club.
Peak Cashflow was established in 2007 by Jim Small and Peter Stanton. They are both long established within the factoring and invoice discounting market, with over 50 years experience between us.
They are fully independent, meaning they are not owned or operated by any major bank or financial institution. They have the financial backing of a major multinational funder to ensure that the company can grow and support you through the various challenges your business faces, and because they are independent – this has many benefits for the customer. It allows them to maintain a close working relationship with the clients business, as well as giving them the opportunity to offer the client truly bespoke invoice finance services. The company are based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
Founder member of the company, Peter Stanton, told us more about the company and their involvement with Torquay United:
“Peak Cashflow is a finance company, and we offer commercial finance across the UK from clients as far north as Aberdeen to as far south as Truro. We have a lot of clients here in the South West of England, which is why i became attached to Torquay United, and we have built a network of people we work with in this particular area and it has rewarded us very well, so i invest with the Club and get involved in there because i’ve been able to meet people and pick business up in this part of the UK.”
“I am significantly involved in this part of the world now where we have many many clients, and although i am originally from the Midlands area, we have a large proportion of our clients in this area. We have been involved with the Club for about 15 years, so i have become more actively involved as i’ve engaged with Directors here and with owners in the past and slowly built up my relationship with the Club, and we got to a point where we wanted to put a little bit of money in and do bits and pieces, and invest in various promotional parts of the Club to give a little of the money back in, because we have done well out of that relationship.”
“So i’ve been coming down here to watch football for about 20 years, and actively probably for the last 10 to 15 years on a more regular basis, and slowly but surely i’ve had a real love affair with the Club. I love coming down here, i love watching the football here because i love proper grassroots football, and that’s my passion. I’ve always been a supporter of smaller clubs with my historic club being Walsall, and have never been interested in being involved with the Premier League sized clubs as i like the smaller league football.”
