Torquay United AFC is delighted to announce Danni Wyatt as the Club’s #HerGameToo Ambassador.
Her Game Too aims to combat sexism in football and was founded by 12 passionate female football fans, with the non-profit organisation aiming to create an ethos in football which sees women being welcomed and respected equally. Her Game Too has a wide range of aims, with the focus of building a more welcoming environment for young girls and women, as well as continuing their campaign against sexism in football and online abuse.
Already a familiar face to the Yellow Army as Club Captain of Torquay United Women FC, Danni is pleased to be stepping into her new role as Torquay United AFC’s Her Game Too Ambassador.
“I am delighted that TUAFC have approached me to become the official Her Game Too Ambassador for the club, a campaign and Club that are both incredibly important to me. For me, football really is a beautiful game for all.”
TUAFC partnered with Her Game Too in November 2021, which saw the club become the first to offer an entire stand to the campaign, with 1,000 free tickets made available for females in the Wollens Terrace.
Speaking of Danni being appointed as Torquay United’s #HerGameToo Ambassador, Co-Founder and Director Lucy Ford said:
“We are really pleased that Torquay United have fulfilled the Her Game Too Ambassador Role at the club. We look forward to working closely with Danni to promote inclusivity at Plainmoor, as well as welcoming her within the #HerGameToo team.”
