Torquay United AFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Jo Harris as the club’s Disability Liaison Officer.
This appointment represents a pro-active approach by the club, in order to further increase engagement with our devoted Yellow Army and the local community.
In conjunction with being part of the Administration team at Plainmoor, Jo will be ensuring the needs of home and away disabled supporters are met on matchdays, as well as building on the progress made by the club over the past 18 months.
Jo will be a familiar face for many supporters, having served the club in a number of different roles as a volunteer, before joining the club on a full-time basis in January last year.
Her main aim in her new role will be to provide a direct point of contact for disabled supporters to help ensure everyone’s experience at Plainmoor is a positive one.
“I feel privileged to have been appointed into this role, and I will be aiming to continue the good work already undertaken by the club,” said Jo.
Supporters will be able to raise any queries that they may have by contacting her directly via the following email address: [email protected]
