TUAFC is pleased to announce the launch of our new #HerGullsToo group, with an introductory event taking place at Boots & Laces this Sunday 14th May 2023 from 2pm.

With Boots & Laces open from 2pm, and the Vitality Womens FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Man Utd being shown LIVE on the big screen from 2.30pm, this is a great chance for female football fans from all across the local community to get together and discuss the beautiful game, as we look to establish ‘Her Gulls Too’ as a permanent fixture in the TUAFC calendar!

Initial ideas for upcoming events include, Q&A sessions with members of United’s Women’s team, playing skittles in the famous Boots & Laces alleys, as well as socialising with other like-minded female Gulls fans.

TUAFC and TUWFC representatives will be present at our forthcoming Her Gulls Too events to meet with fans. However, we’re opening up the floor for United’s female supporters to lead the way with this exciting new group, so all feedback & ideas on how to take Her Gulls Too forward will be warmly welcomed!

The launch of our new Her Gulls Too group is the latest initiative to come from the Club’s partnership with #HerGameToo.

Back in November 2021 TUAFC became the first Club to offer a whole stand to the Her Game Too campaign, when 1,000 free tickets were made available for females. Following this initiative to launch the Club’s partnership with the non-profit organisation, on behalf of the Club, Director Mel Hayman and Media Coordinator Jess Francis were awarded the #HerGameToo Hero Award for November 2021.

TUAFC is proud to be partnered with #HerGameToo, and with 60% of the Club’s non-playing staff being female, Torquay United hopes to continue to play a role in this initiative, with the introduction of TUAFC’s ‘Her Gulls Too’ events following on from TUWFC Captain Danni Wyatt being announced as the Club’s #HerGameToo Ambassador in February.
