We’ll be joined by a special guest on Saturday, 8 year-old United fan Daniel Boosey.

Daniel has Cerebral Palsy, and as part of his bid to gain mobility he has been a part of Torquay United Community Sports Trust’s disabled football team, the Inspirations.

Guy Boosey, Daniel’s dad, thinks that the sessions put on by TUCST have played a part in enabling Daniel to take his first steps unaided.

“In recent weeks, and after years of effort by a lot of people, Dan has finally started to take his first few steps without a walker or sticks,” said Guy.

“There’s a long way to go, but this is something we have waited so long for – and Dan knows what an achievement this is for him. The Torquay United Community Sports Trust Inspiration sessions have definitely played a part in this achievement, and will help him continue to develop as we go forward,”
