Following an appeal launched by the Torquay United Supporters Trust, the Yellow Army have once again shown their commitment to the cause, by volunteering to help restore Plainmoor to its former glories this summer.
With TUST seeking helping hands to grab their brushes to paint and refresh the terraces and surrounding areas of United’s beloved home, the Trust have been inundated with responses from all over the UK, with many supporters travelling far and wide to play their part in a new and exciting era at TUFC.
TUST Chairman Nick Brodrick was understandably delighted at the response received.
“We’re really grateful for the fantastic response that we’ve had for volunteers, and we will be issuing updates in due course.”
Dates for the working party’s ‘Paint-Up Plainmoor Day’ will be communicated to volunteers soon, however, due to the wonderful response received, TUST have now advised that no further volunteers are being sought at this time.
Both the Club and the Trust would like to come together and express our immense gratitude to everyone that has offered assistance, and we look forward to meeting you all very soon!
