Kevin Wills’ U18s take on Reading City this evening (26/10/23 7pm KO), as the Young Gulls look to seal a place in the FA Youth Cup 1st Round Proper.
Having already turned on the style to defeat Bovey Tracey (6-1) and Falmouth (6-3) in their previous rounds, tonight’s tie was originally due to see United afforded home advantage, before the postponement of last Thursday’s match at Homers Heath forced a switch of venue to Berkshire instead.
With the winners of tonight’s game facing Exeter City at home in Round 1, Wills will be hoping that his entertaining young side can reproduce more heroics to continue their cup progress, and set up a mouthwatering Devon Derby in the process.
