Holders Torquay United strode into the League Cup semi-finals on Saturday, following a fine 4-1 win at Swindon Supermarine.
A brace from Will Brennan, in addition to a double from Under-16 starlet Coby White, was enough to see the dominant Young Gulls through to the final four, as Kevin Wills’ side continued their remarkable run of form this season.
A trip to Mangotsfield United awaits United in the semis, with the other tie seeing Torquay’s South West Counties Young League title rivals Bridgwater head to Bath City.
Before that, it will be to Bath that Torquay will travel this weekend, as Wills’ league leaders continue their pursuit of a third-successive league and cup double.
