Ryan Dickson’s Under-18s got October off to flyer on Saturday morning, as they emerged 4-0 winners at Wimborne Town.
Goals from Jayden Gilbert, Ben Aldous (2) and Tom Chestey did the job, as United made it two South West Counties Youth League wins out of two.
Dickson was delighted with the performance from his side, with a number of young players gaining valuable experience.
“It was a good squad performance, with a lot of first years getting valuable minutes,” said the U18s boss.
“I was really pleased with the impact players coming off the bench. One of those, Tom Chestey, finished off a great team goal for our fourth. We played out from our goal kick, through the Wimborne midfield for a through-ball, which was then calmly finished.
“There were stand-out performances from Sam Bishop and Mason Elliot, who added quality in possession to control the game.”
Well done, lads!
