Trialist Wes Atkinson has done enough to extend his trial with the Club according to head coach, Gary Owers.
The former West Bromwich Albion youth midfielder played in Tuesday night’s St, Lukes Challenge Cup match against Cullompton Rangers.
“Wes is still with us, I like him. I have watched him a lot,” said Owers.
“He is versatile and can play at centre-half, or a right-back, or as a holding midfielder. He’s a little bit different to the other lads. I think most of the midfielders are footballers if you like, and we might need something a little bit different, or a little bit more robust and he could be the one.”
