Following the success of last year’s tournament, we are delighted to be hosting Chew Valley FC once again in 2018!
Chew Valley will be bringing over 200 players, parents and coaching staff to the the Bay for the weekend. The aim after a long season, is to promote the Youth Department and showcase the young, talented, and enthusiastic players from the U6s to the U12s. All games are built on the emphasis of having fun and enjoying the day. Let’s hope we see some fantastic football and the sun shines for us on the English Riviera this weekend!
The tournament was due to take place at Torquay Academy, but as work on the Plainmoor pitch has been put back a week, chairman Clarke Osborne has decided that it can now take place at Plainmoor. It is a great opportunity for players from our youth development system and our visitors from Chew Valley FC to experience what it is like to play on a first-rate surface. Food and refreshments will then be served after the games are played. We’re very excited to see everyone on Sunday!
