Torquay United AFC was delighted to welcome SPACE Torbay to Plainmoor for our recent home game against Chorley.
SPACE are commissioned by the NHS to offer a support planning service to individuals with a Learning Disability / Autism in Torbay. They identify people to identify their chosen activities to meet their assessed needs within their agreed budget. SPACE also work with people to help identify appropriate activities or jobs in the local area.
SPACE’s Friendship Project gives people the chance to take part in activities and make friends, whilst The Hub offers a weekly place to develop life skills, co-produce plans with the NHS and meet for a coffee and a chat.
The Hub takes place every Tuesday 10am-2pm at the Windmill Centre, Torquay TQ2 7QR – There is no need to book, however if you require any further information, please call 07572 004443
