Following consultation, Torquay United can announce an amendment to the policy regarding the consumption of hot drinks inside Plainmoor.
Winter matches naturally prompt supporters to seek the comfort of hot beverages during the cold weather, and whilst Gary Johnson’s side have been warming the hearts of the Yellow Army with their performances out on the pitch, the unavailability of snack bars inside the stadium has prompted the club to permit supporters to be able to bring their own hot drinks into Plainmoor on matchdays.
The club can now confirm that supporters will be allowed from today to bring flasks containing hot non-alcoholic drinks into the ground, for consumption only by the individual.
Whilst the club are pleased that supporters can now consume a hot beverage whilst inside the stadium, we must stress that this is subject to review, and any abuse of this relaxation could result in it being revoked.
Thank you once again for your continued understanding and support, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Plainmoor for another exciting match this evening.
