After receiving a fantastic response to our VIP Packages Initiative last season, the Club is pleased to announce that this exciting initiative will be looking to go from strength to strength again this season.
This venture enables local children with autism and other learning difficulties, to experience live football – with some of them attending a professional sporting event for the very first time. Originally launched last November, following its success, the Club is delighted to continue this initiative throughout 2023/24, with applications now open for home fixtures throughout November.
TUAFC is proud to be recognised as an all-inclusive, family-orientated Club, and this link-up will again see the Club playing an active and supportive role at the very heart of the Torbay community.
With the package often providing children with their first experience of live football here at Plainmoor, a number of children have already made their first footballing memories at Torquay United so far this season, with many being amazed and some even starstruck when seeing the stadium for the first time, with the Club looking to provide this experience to many more youngsters throughout the course of the current campaign!
Ahead of their matchday, children will get to meet members of the Club’s footballing staff and off-field team and familiarise themselves with the stadium and their surroundings. They will also be given Gift Vouchers to spend in the Club Shop and Food Kiosk, to make the day even more memorable!
Matchdays will see the children invited to Plainmoor as guests of the Club, and enjoy the thrills and spills that only live sport can provide, as well as giving them a unique opportunity to build a lifelong passion for Torquay United.
As well as working together with Play Torbay and Torbay Council Children’s Services, TUAFC would like to thank the Torquay United Supporters Trust (TUST) for assisting with this community initiative.
