Torquay United AFC is pleased to announce that Saturday’s National league encounter against Wrexham has sold out.
This follows a terrific response from the Yellow Army after the return of fans to football under tier 2 of local restrictions. We hope returning to Plainmoor will provide our fans with some relief after a very difficult year for everyone so far. While a small proportion of fans will be inside Plainmoor to support the team on Saturday, we are also acutely aware that a large proportion of our fan base will be disappointed that they will be unable to attend.
For our match against Wrexham the Club was limited to 1,250 fans inside Plainmoor. Our next home match against Maidenhead will have a marginal increase in capacity to 1,500 fans. The capacity of our third match against Dagenham & Redbridge will increase to 1,728. This figure will then be our capacity moving forward until further notice and was agreed with the National League and our Safety Advisory Group (SAG) under SG02.
For those fans that cannot attend our home matches in person, video streaming will continue for the foreseeable future. Fans can book their stream by visiting this link: https://bit.ly/3mGZiHa.
Tickets for our match against Maidenhead will be available soon and fans are asked to keep up to date by visiting the website.
