Kevin Wills’ Under-18s maintained their 100% league record with a gritty win on Saturday morning, as they secured a 2-1 win over Bath City at South Devon College.
A wonderful piece of individual brilliance from Kai Swann saw United head into the interval a goal to the good, however, a 70th minute equaliser from City’s Kristian Andrew looked to have put the result in the balance.
Wills’ side are made of stern stuff though, and they eventually claimed all three points thanks to a late Liam Poole header to maintain the pressure on league leaders Bridgwater, who also boast a unblemished record so far this term.
