With the new season edging ever closer, Torquay United is pleased to announce details regarding it’s ever popular Matchday Packages for 2024/25, which once again promise to give individual children or groups a matchday experience to remember here at Plainmoor!
2024/25 Mascot Packages Now Available!
After creating a whole host of memories since its return in recent seasons, Torquay United FC is delighted to announce details regarding our ever-popular Mascot Packages for the 2024/25 season.
Each season we welcome a number of children aged between 5-12 for every home fixture here at Plainmoor as Matchday Mascots. A truly exciting experience for any United-loving youngster, this package enables children the opportunity to meet their United heroes, before leading them out onto the hallowed turf at Plainmoor.
After walking side by side with a member of United’s starting eleven out of the tunnel and onto the Plainmoor pitch, each Mascot will return to their guardian in the JMV Family Stand, where they can enjoy the full match experience with premier seating. This special day will also see each Mascot’s name and image feature in our official matchday programme, whilst also being welcomed to the Yellow Army over the tannoy by our PA announcer.
New for the 2024/25 season, Mascot Packages will now include the full kit, so your child can showcase the same colours as the squad member that will walk out onto the Plainmoor pitch beside them. Also new for the forthcoming campaign, Mascots will get to go behind the scenes, with a pre-match tour of Plainmoor, and also enjoying a fun session at Spires, where each child can enjoy footballing action of their own, ahead of proceedings getting underway on the Plainmoor pitch!
For 2024/25, our Mascot Packages are priced at £180 (£150+VAT) and includes:
- Match ticket for the Mascot and one guardian.
- Premier seating in the JMV Family Stand.
- Behind the scenes tour of Plainmoor.
- Spires fun session.
- Meet the players as they arrive for autographs.
- Mascot’s name and photo in our official matchday programme.
- Mascots will be welcomed over the tannoy via our PA announcer.
- Lead out the team ahead of kick-off.
- Full kit included with package.
Team Tours To Continue In 2024/25
Torquay United FC is also delighted to continue its Team Tours matchday initiative at home fixtures throughout the course of the 2024/25 season.
A popular initiative that took off last season was our Team Tours experiences which saw many local groups and teams come together to experience a matchday at Plainmoor. From birthday parties to schools, sports clubs and scouts, our Team Tours package can provide groups of youngsters with an exciting matchday experience.
After being greeted by a member of Club staff on your designated matchday, your group will be invited to take part in a pre-match penalty shootout, before forming a guard of honour ahead of the United players making their way out onto the hallowed turf! Each child will also receive a complimentary copy of the relevant fixtures official matchday programme, and will be able to enjoy the thrills of a matchday at Plainmoor with their friends!
Our Team Tours packages are priced at £300 (£250+VAT) and the package includes:
- Match tickets for up to 15 children and 5 adults to watch the game together as a group.
- ‘Meet and Greet’ by a member of Torquay United staff.
- Each child will receive a complimentary copy of our official matchday programme.
- The group will be invited to take part in a penalty shootout prior to kick-off, with the winner taking part in our famous Crossbar Challenge* (subject to pitch/weather conditions).
- The group will form a Guard of Honour, as both sets of players emerge out onto the hallowed Plainmoor turf!
