Torquay United AFC would like to thank all Season Ticket holders who attended Friday’s exclusive training game at Plainmoor, as they were given unique access to witness the squad’s 2022/23 preparations nearing completion.
In front of an enthusiastic audience in the Family Stand, the session proved to be a huge success and got off to the best possible start, as those in attendance were greeted with the breaking news that left-back Ben Wyatt had just become the latest addition to Gary Johnson’s new-look roster for the upcoming season.
The attention then switched to the on-field action, as the players were put through their paces in a hotly-contested training session and training game, before the Gaffer himself took centre-stage, taking part in intriguing Question & Answer session with supporters.
To round off what was a wonderful start to Plainmoor’s Fantastic Friday – with our Community Fun Day taking place outside the stadium immediately afterwards – fans were then given the opportunity to chat with their heroes at close-quarters, with quite a few selfies thrown in too!
