Gary Johnson celebrates four years in charge at Plainmoor.
With this evening’s match against Solihull Moors marking four years to the day since Gary Johnson was appointed as the new manager of Torquay United AFC, tonight is a chance to look back and take stock of how far The Gulls have come during that time, and remember some of the magical times we’ve all enjoyed together since Johnson took charge in 2018.
With a current win percentage of 50.27%, The Gaffer boasts the best winning record of any TUAFC manager since the Club first joined the Football League in 1927.
