Friday evening saw the first of our TUAFC competition events, when Boots & Laces hosted the big quiz.
Winners: No Hopers
Friday night was another good turnout at Boots and Laces, as the Club invited teams of up to six to get their brains into gear with our Let’s Get Quizzical event, hosted by Media Assistant Ian Brown with Disabled Liaison Support Officer Jo Harris as quiz adjudicator.
Teams took part in six rounds of questions including General Knowledge, Sport, Food & Drink, Television and Music, and also included a bonus picture round to boost the scoring potential.
Runners-Up: Why Are We Here?
The rounds of questions were closely fought out and at the end of the evening only two points separated the winners, No Hopers on 64 points from the runners up, Why Are We Here on 62 points.
TUAFC would like to thank the players and teams for making the night, with lots of fun and laughs had by all, and we look forward to welcoming everybody to our forthcoming events. Details of our next events will be advertised on the website and on our social media platforms in due course.
