MOMENT #4 v Halifax (Away, National League), 2nd November, 2019
There was a tough prospect in store for Gary Johnson’s men at the beginning of November, as United made the long journey up to Yorkshire to take on fellow high flyers FC Halifax Town at The Shay.
With injury ruling out a number of key men, including captain Asa Hall, skipper for the day, Kyle Cameron, rose to the task – literally – by heading his side in front from an inch-perfect corner inside ten minutes.
Following on from that superb start, Torquay produced a magnificent performance to delight the travelling Yellow Army, as they ran out comprehensive 4-2 winners.
As has been said many times before… A good beginning makes a good ending!
