Striker James Gray has joined York City on a permanent deal.
Gray, 25, joined United after a successful trial at the beginning of the season. He scored twice in the National League, once against Woking and then against Barrow AFC.
Gray joined the Minstermen on loan in October seeking first team football.
“We wish him well,” said head coach Gary Owers.
“He was on a short-term contract and I gave him the opportunity to go up to York to play games. He’s got himself into a position where York want to offer him more security.”
We would like to thank James for his efforts while with the Club and wish him the best for the future.
