Torquay United AFC is pleased to announce the loan signing of Scott Smith from Wigan Athletic.
The 21 year-old midfielder has already made nine appearances for the Championship Club, and is regarded as one of Wigan’s most promising young players.
Torquay boss Gary Johnson was therefore pleased to complete a deal for the player until the start of 2023.
“We’re happy to bring Scott Smith to our Football Club,” said Johnson.
“We wish him well, and hope he enjoys his stay until January.”
United’s latest signing has been allocated squad number 36.
