Torquay United AFC is delighted to announce Tally Ho Coaches are the Club’s new Official Travel Partner.
With United heading for Hertfordshire to take on St Albans this weekend, the news that Tally Ho will be transporting United’s playing staff to away games throughout the course of 2023/24 has been met with great enthusiasm from both parties.
Tally Ho, established in 1923, has an extensive and admired transportation history throughout the South-West of England, and having agreed to partner up with The Gulls, it promises to be an exciting season ahead for all concerned.
“We are really pleased to become the official travel partner to Torquay United AFC,” said Don McIntosh, Tally Ho’s Commercial Director.
“The Club is a part of the fabric of society in South Devon, it has a long and proud history dating back to 1899, so it is especially rewarding to align our name with the club in our Centenary year.”
TUAFC Chief Executive George Edwards, meanwhile, was pleased to place the responsibility of the Club’s travel arrangements in the hands of a company with such strong traditions.
“Tally Ho have an outstanding reputation in their field, and we are therefore delighted to be working with them.
“We look forward to a long and successful partnership with them.”
Tally Ho are one of the largest independent bus and coach operators in the South West and will be celebrating their centenary year in 2023.
