Our Match Sponsor tomorrow will see Gulls fanatic Patrick and his family join us at Plainmoor for a very special celebration!

Patrick is getting married to Naomi Knight in Lewes, East Sussex on October 24th, and at tomorrow’s game he will be celebrating in true Yellow Army style with his dad Richard, brothers Josh and Sam, brother-in-law Mike, and family friends Colin Taylor and Martin & Will Musgrove. As if being the son and grandson, respectively, of former United boss Malcolm Musgrove wasn’t enough of a claim to fame, Martin has also won the Crossbar Challenge here at Plainmoor before, although this was under the alias of ‘Neil from Paignton’!

Patrick has been a Gulls fan almost since birth – although in truth, he was given little choice by his father! September 2002 saw a nine year-old Patrick make an appearance as mascot for United’s trip to Oxford, but it was almost two years later that his love for TUAFC was really confirmed, as he made the trip to Roots Hall to see Leroy Rosenior’s Torquay side clinch a 2-1 win, and with it, promotion to League One!

Although living in East Sussex, Patrick attends as many games as possible – home & away – and has a number of memorable victories – and curries! – to reflect on here today.

Best wishes to Patrick & Naomi on your upcoming wedding – and we hope you all enjoy your stay with us!
