Torquay United AFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Dominic Mee as Media and Supporter Liaison Co-Ordinator.
This appointment represents a pro-active approach by the club, in order to increase engagement with our devoted Yellow Army and the community.
The position of Supporter Liaison Co-Ordinator is an essential one for all football clubs, and will create a bridge between the Football Club and its supporters.
Whilst combining the supporter liaison role with being part of the media team at Plainmoor, Dominic will work on improving the experience of supporters, and building on the progress made by the club over the past 12 months.
Dominic has been a familiar face around the club for a number of years now, having held many voluntary positions, such as matchday announcer, before joining the club on a full-time basis earlier this year.
One of Dominic’s primary aims will be to maximise communication channels between supporters and the club, with a view to providing an improved experience at Plainmoor, on matchdays and beyond.
Having regularly assisted supporters in the Main Club Reception, as well as fulfilling a number of different media roles, it is hoped that Dominic’s transition into his new role will be seamless one, and he is clearly relishing the new challenge.
“As a lifelong Gulls fan, I’m both delighted and honoured to be appointed to this role,” said Dominic.
“It is not one I shall be taking lightly though, and I would ask supporters to contact me with any queries they may have. It’s important that we are all pulling in the right direction to ensure we get this club back to where it belongs – The Football League.”
Supporters will be able to raise any queries that they may have by contacting Dominic directly via a dedicated email address / mobile number, which will be confirmed shortly.
