United midfielder Jack Winsor has joined Southern League side Bideford on loan.

Following a spell on the sidelines through injury, Jack will now head to North Devon to gain valuable experience, having been promoted to the senior ranks at Plainmoor at the end of last season.

The move will also see the former Torquay youth team star link up with fellow first-year professional Lewis Brooks.

United manager Gary Johnson feels that regular game time with Bideford will further aid the youngster’s development, having now returned to training.

“Unfortunately Jack Winsor had a pretty long-term injury and obviously his loan ran out at Willand,” said The Gaffer.

“Bideford were interested in him, and we agreed to let him go there to get some games, because he’s training well now and needs the games.

“It’s a perfect situation for everyone, and of course, he joins his teammate Lewis Brooks, who is doing very well.”
