Torquay United’s long-standing partnership with local law firm Wollens continues to go from strength to strength, with both parties uniting for next week’s Community Day at Plainmoor.

Wollens – like United – is extremely proud of its local roots, and therefore the Devon-based solicitors are delighted that their sponsored stand is set to welcome 1,000 community guests for the match against King’s Lynn on Saturday, October 23rd (3pm KO).

With their company name adorning Plainmoor’s Away Terrace for the past two years, this exciting new venture will see many visitors enjoying live football for the very first time, and will only further add to the sense of occasion, as Plainmoor opens its doors up for the benefit of Torbay residents on a previously unprecedented scale.

Torquay United’s Commercial Manager Sharon Musker expanded on the positives that can be gained by forging closer partnerships with the local community.

“Our partnership with Wollens is an excellent example of two members of the local communities combining for the benefit of both parties.

“Wollens have provided amazing support during testing times, and now by working together, we can look forward to our first Community Day at Plainmoor, with 1,000 free tickets being given out to our local community in the Wollens Terrace.”
