Gulls skipper Asa Hall enjoyed the most prolific season of his career to date last term, however, it wasn’t only Torquay United that had cause to celebrate his form in front of goal.

In a joint-venture with United Season-Ticket holder Chris Gadd, both arranged to make a donation to Torquay-based charity Rowcroft Hospice every time Torquay’s captain hit the back of the net, meaning the money raised could directly benefit patients and their families from across South Devon.

Rowcroft Hospice supports adults living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon, with the vast majority of their funding coming from the fundraising efforts and generosity of the local community.

Torquay United AFC is delighted to be assisting them for the amazing service that they provide for patients, and their families, on a daily basis.
