Torquay United’s Under-18 side maintained their excellent start to the season with an emphatic 8-3 away win at second-placed Wimborne Town.

A hat-trick from Jacob Evans, plus strikes from Luke Selley, Louie Slough, Josh Hurran, Sam Bosworth and Olaf Koszela sealed the victory, which leaves United three points behind leaders Bristol Academy at the top of the South West Counties U18 League with a game in hand. Koszela’s strike was his 35th of a remarkable campaign, which has also included making his first team debut.

Torquay play their next match at home to Salisbury FC on Saturday.
