With the crowning of King Charles III on Saturday, Boots & Laces will be holding a two day celebration to commemorate this event.
Saturday 6th May will see the official Coronation of King Charles III, with Boots & Laces open from 10am with refreshments on hand as the ceremony takes place at Westminster Abbey, and is available to watch on our Big Screen as the community comes together to celebrate this momentous event.
The following day, Sunday 7th May, will see Boots & Laces host another two events with the first of them from 2pm till 4pm seeing our Coronation Big Lunch Out event, with a kids street party-style picnic taking place outside, with fancy dress encouraged, and a craft table at the rear of the Boots & Laces on hand for you to make your own crown & flag. We will then take the celebrations into the evening with the Coronation Concert being shown from Windsor Castle on our Big Screen, so you can dance the night away with the acts on the bill, as the Coronation weekend comes to a close.
