Gulls defender Dylan Crowe has joined National League South side rivals Havant & Waterlooville on loan.

Having arrived at Plainmoor last summer, Crowe, 22, was a regular in the United line-up last term, however following a spell on the sidelines – and with Gary Johnson’s side beginning the 2023/24 season in impressive fashion –  the former Ipswich Town starlet will now head to Westleigh Park in order to gain some valuable game time with Steve King’s Hawks.

“Crowey was unlucky when he came back,” explained Johnson.

“He was injured for a little while, and unfortunately he’s been unable to push himself into the first-team because of the decent results we’ve had.

“However, we felt that he needed games, so we were happy to loan him out for a month, to bring him up to match speed.”
