Manager Gary Johnson has received further recognition of United’s superb form under his stewardship, with the news that he has been shortlisted as ‘Coach of the Year’ at the Devon and Cornwall Sports Award 2018 to be held at Plymouth Pavilions this evening.
The award recognises a sports coach who has used sport to bring people together and further the skills of their players or students. This will be someone who has demonstrated fantastic leadership within their chosen sport. This person has determination and drive which is infectious, they are someone who has worked tirelessly to achieve success.
There can be only one winner in the Yellow Army’s eyes, and everybody at Torquay United wishes Gary the best of luck tonight.
