United fans will be able to enjoy a drink in the Club’s Gull Nest bar on Saturday with a welcome twist.
The Nest opens at 1:30pm for United fans and there will be a familiar face behind the bar – none other than former United great, John Turner, who joins the club as match day bars manager.
Goalkeeper John Turner enjoyed a successful career at United between 1978-1980 and 1983-1984.
After his football career John went into the pub trade, most recently the owner of The Jolly Sailor, which he owned for 20 years before it was lost to fire in April.
So come along to The Gulls Nest on Saturday and raise a drink to one of the best goalkeepers to ever play for United!
