United have reason to celebrate ahead of Sunday’s National League play-off final with the news that United forward Connor Lemonheigh-Evans has been included in the National League Team of the Season.
“Great news,” was Gary Johnson’s first reaction to learning that Connor would be included.
“It’s a great accolade for any individual player. It will make him feel that not only has he had a very good season, but that you have also been noticed by a lot of people.
“He was our Player of the Season as well, so I congratulate him and look forward to him scoring a goal on Sunday!”
