Thursday 16th March brings us two Europa League Last 16 Second Leg games starting at 17:45, when Real Betis will be looking to overturn a 4-1 deficit suffered in the First Leg at Old Trafford as they take on Manchester United, before at 20:00 we head to the Emirates, where Arsenal face Sporting Lisbon with the teams level at 2-2 after the First Leg in Portugal last week.

The weekend action starts on Friday 16th March with the Premier League game from the City Ground, as Nottingham Forest face a Newcastle United side looking to get their top 4 ambitions back on track after their 2-1 win against Wolves last Sunday, and that game gets underway at 20:00.

With Gary Johnson’s men making the long trip to Gateshead this Saturday (18th March, 3pm KO), then if you are not able to travel why not come to Boots & Laces for the football action starting at 12:30, where there is National League action featuring two of the Play-Off contenders as Woking face Chesterfield. Then at 17:45 there is the first of the weekends FA Cup Quarter Finals, as Manchester City look to continue their bid for the domestic double, as they face runaway Championship leaders Burnley who are managed by ex-City defender Vincent Kompany.

With TUWFC facing Sherbourne Town Ladies here at Plainmoor on Sunday 19th March (2pm KO), then why not start the day at 12:00 as two Championship sides face each other in the FA Cup Quarter Final, where high flying Sheffield United take on Play Off chasing Blackburn Rovers for a place in the Semi Final. After the action is complete on the hallowed turf then you can take in the last FA Cup Quarter Final as Manchester United face a Fulham side who haven’t reached a Semi Final since 2001.
