Thursday 5th January it’s a big clash at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea look to improve on their stuttering form, when they take on title chasing Manchester City and that kicks off at 20:00.
Friday 6th January kicks off the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup, with a clash of the Premier League as Manchester United host Frank Lampard’s Everton, with the Toffee’s looking to put their league form to one side and embark on a cup run, with that game kicking off at 20:00.
With Gary Johnson’s men facing FC Halifax Town here at Plainmoor in the first competitive home action of 2023 on Saturday 7th January 3pm KO, then why not get to Boots & Laces early with Emirates FA Cup Third Round action at 12:30, as League Two Gillingham look to cause an upset when they take on Brendan Rodger’s Leicester City. After the action has finished out on the Plainmoor pitch, then there are another two FA Cup Third Round games starting at 18:00 as League One Sheffield Wednesday look to upset the odds when they face high flying Premier League Newcastle United, before at 20:00 it’s an all Premier League affair from Anfield as Liverpool take on Wolves, with both looking for a place in the Fourth Round.
Sunday 8th January completes the weekend action with another two FA Cup Third Round ties, starting at 14:00 where Cardiff City face Leeds United, and then at 16:30 fresh from their Premier League game against each other on Thursday, this time Manchester City have the home advantage as they take on Chelsea.
