The Yellow Army have until 4pm today to cast their vote for United’s Player of the Month for March.

With March seeing Gary Johnson’s side play six games, there’s no shortage of candidates to win this month’s award.

It has been another solid month for Mark Halstead between the posts for United, with a number of key saves in the six matches played meaning that United have been in every game played this month. The return from injury this month by captain Asa Hall has been a big boost to the squad, and it was his experience and threat in the air that led him to getting the winning goal at Boreham Wood, while also guiding the team out on the pitch. Aaron Jarvis gets yet another nomination with another solid month and a goal to add to his already impressive tally, that being his spectacular goal against Dagenham & Redbridge here at Plainmoor.

Kieron Evans has also been earning rave reviews again this month as he continues to blossom in the team, and indeed March saw Evans add to his goal tally with back to back goals against Wealdstone and Gateshead. Once again in defence Nico Lawrence has been solid at the back for United, making some impressive tackles to break up opposition play, and gets a chance to claim a second successive award following his winning  of the February Player of the Month prize.

Finally March saw the arrival of Kevin Dawson to the United ranks, and after making his debut as a second half substitute at Aldershot at the start of the month has been an ever present in the starting line up, providing some great link up play from the defence to the forward line, while also claiming an assist with his cross creating the chance for Asa Hall to head the winning goal against Boreham Wood.

Whoever is your choice, it’s time to have your say!

Votes can be cast now by selecting one player from the choices below, with the vote closing at 4pm today (Monday 3rd April)
