With Saturday’s crucial home clash with Notts County now just three days away, United Manager Gary Johnson has issued the following statement to the Yellow Army:
“It’s 35 points from the last 18 games – top six form for the second half of the season.
“The lads are putting in a tremendous effort to reach a play-off place. While it’s mathematically possible, we will look to give it our all.
“Hopefully, our recent form has given you hope. So, if you can carry on giving the lads your full, positive support on Saturday, then at least we’ve all given it a right go.
“Thank you, Yellow Army for being there when we needed you – we need you for a bit longer.
“Always believe.”
