Established in 1945, Allsop & Pitts are a family run company, who have successfully supplied, installed and serviced catering equipment from our base in Torquay for over 70 years, with the company now having an even more extended family after acquiring Cornwall Catering Equipment in 2016.

Upon a recent visit to Plainmoor, Lawrence Purdie who is Operations & Sales Director from the company, and he spoke about Allsop & Pits and also told us how the link up with Torquay United came about:-
“So we are a local family run company that were established in 1945 supplying catering equipment, heavy goods, light goods and servicing, to the catering industry, hospitality, stadiums, hotels, restaurants, hospitals and the education sector.”
“I decided with my lad being a Torquay fan, and who is on the Popside this year at 12 years old with his brother, so he decided he’d like a board and we thought it would be good to support a local team again, as we used to have a board here back in the day, so that’s how it came about and we thought it was a good idea to have a board.”
