There’s Champions League midweek action tonight as Real Madrid face Chelsea in the Quarter Final First Leg, and you can watch it live here at Boots & Laces.

 

Tonight, Wednesday 12th April brings us the Champions League, as we head to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where 14 times European Champions Real Madrid will be looking to get a commanding lead in the First Leg of their Quarter Final game against Chelsea, who under the interim management of Frank Lampard, will want to put their indifferent Premier League form to one side and try to get themselves something to take back to Stamford Bridge in the Second Leg next week, with kick off at 20:00.

Thursday 13th April then brings us action from the Europa League Quarter Final First Leg at Old Trafford as Manchester United face another Spanish side in Sevilla, having already defeated their La Liga counterparts Barcelona in the Round Of 16, with kick off at 19:45. Friday 14th April brings us the first Championship game of the weekend at 20:00, when Middlesbrough will look to cement their Play Off spot, against a Norwich City side still pushing for their own spot in the top 6 come the end of the season.

Saturday 15th April sees Gary Johnson’s men in action here at Plainmoor against York City (3pm KO), so why not start your day early at Boots & Laces with the 12:30 action from the the Premier League, as Aston Villa look to continue their impressive recent form against Newcastle United, who are still pushing for that top four finish at the end of the season and a Champions League place. Then at 17:30 we head to the Etihad Stadium for more Premier League action, where Manchester City will look to keep the pressure on Arsenal ahead of their forthcoming meeting when they take on Leicester City, who will be wanting to give new boss Dean Smith his first win in charge and move the Foxes out of the relegation zone.

The final action of the weekend is on Sunday 16th April as first at 14:00 it’s East meets North in the London derby as West Ham United, encouraged by their win over Fulham last time out in the league take on leaders Arsenal, who themselves will be looking for the three points to keep title rivals Manchester City at arms length. before at 16:30 we head to the East Midlands, as relegation threatened Nottingham Forest face Champions League chasing Manchester United.
