Our ‘Torbay Together’ Day, with local community groups able to purchase tickets for Good Friday’s home clash against Eastleigh for just £1 per person, will end at midday tomorrow.

With Upton Athletic, SPACE, Torquay Academy, Disability Torbay, Swim Torbay, Galmpton United, Torquay Athletic RFC, Paignton Villa, and Burrow Down Short Breaks just a few of the local groups who have already taken advantage of this exciting initiative, we’re looking forward to welcoming as many of you to Plainmoor this Easter, as the whole of Torbay unites together to get behind The Gulls!

Following back-to-back away wins during the past week, Gary Johnson’s reinvigorated Gulls return home tomorrow, for what is a huge clash against The Spitfires. Having gained successive three-point hauls on their travels to Boreham Wood and Scunthorpe, United know that another victory at Plainmoor this week would be a massive boost to the side’s prospects, as the 2022/23 campaign heads into its final stages.

With the Yellow Army’s vocal support helping Johnson’s side to secure success on the road, United’s players are now looking forward to making home advantage count, as TUAFC welcomes the wider Torbay community to come together and join us in getting behind The Gulls for this crucial encounter on ‘Torbay Together’ Day at Plainmoor.

“It is fantastic to see Torquay United linking with the local sporting fraternity in this way, especially at this crucial stage of the season.

United are an integral part of the Torbay and South Devon community. We are all behind Gary and the boys winning the battle against relegation – and now we have a real chance to make a difference and support them.”

Torquay United Supporters Trust Chairman Nick Brodrick was also pleased to throw his support behind the Club’s latest community initiative.

“This is a generous gesture by the Club to all local sports groups – entry for £1 is a great deal. Let’s get behind the boys and make some noise to ensure National League football next season. Let’s make it a Good Friday to remember.”
