Due to an exceptional response, Torquay United AFC can now announce that the Plainmoor Christmas tours are fully booked, and a waiting list is now in operation.
Our last event held three years ago proved to be a remarkable success, with over 100 youngsters enjoying unprecedented access to the stadium, and once again thanks to the tremendous support from the Yellow Army this year’s event is now fully booked. People wishing to be placed on the waiting list in the event of cancellations can do so by emailing the address below and leaving your details.
During the tours, there will be a whole host of activities and photo opportunities to keep children of all ages – not to mention their parents & guardians – occupied, with a guided tour around the ground including a visit to The Gulls’ dressing rooms and the opportunity to meet with Club staff, before sneaking into Santa’s Grotto, where Father Christmas and his helpers will be on hand out a few gifts to our visitors. To make things even more special, the occasion will then be brought to a fantastically festive finale between 2pm – 4pm, as members of United’s playing staff will be making guest appearances to meet supporters, with plenty of chances for the children to grab selfies with their heroes!

“Our last tours in 2019 proved incredibly popular, and we can’t wait to give even more members of the local Torbay community this unique festive experience. Providing these tours free of charge is a brilliant way for us to wish all our supporters a Happy Christmas!”
With The Club Shop open and Boots & Laces playing host to a selection of local craft stalls for those presents, they’ll also be plenty of festive music, and hot & cold refreshments available for purchase, making this is one date for the diary that is not to be missed!
TUAFC are inviting families from across the community to join us here at Plainmoor for this fantastic festive occasion free of charge, although donations are invited in aid of Torbay Hospital’s Louisa Carey Ward.
